Food & Drink at The Jolly Sailor Maldon

Food & Drink is the heart and soul of The Jolly Sailor.

Not surprisingly, fish dishes are at the centre of the menu offerings at the Jolly Sailor. The fish is fresh daily from local trawlermen, and the days offerings are shown on the daily specials blackboard, and range from small flatties to large cod.

The range of fish dishes, all lovingly prepared and very reasonably priced, would be difficult to better in even the best fish restaurants, and often at prices that will seem too good to believe for such quality! There are no frozen fish dishes here! Nothing is too much trouble to make sure you can enjoy exactly what you want.

Although the dishes availabe do change from day to day, typically avalable dishes include Dover Sole, Skate Wings, Rock Salmon and Breaded Cod.

The cosy bars offer a trip back in time with their traditional atmosphere and sturdy beams taken from old sailing ships. Enjoy a pint or two or a glass of wine in a quiet corner, or sample a dish from our extensive bar menu. With the smell of sea air to encourage your appetite you are sure to enjoy all that the Jolly Sailor has to offer.
