All our rooms are decorated in a traditional style, some with original beams on the walls and ceilings. Some of the rooms enjoy views over the River Blackwater where you can still see several traditional Thames Barges moored at the quayside.

All our rooms offer TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed in our restaurant if you wish.

The Jolly Sailor is the perfect location for exploring this part of Essex and East Anglia. We are only 20 minutes drive from Colchester and 30 minutes from Chelmsford. Stansted Airport is only about an hours drive away, and even Constable Country, London and the Suffolk coast are easily accessible.
